One of the greatest challenges for an educator is to cultivate in children a perpetual appetite for learning—one that should not be confined to the classroom. To keep this spark alive, the educator must continuously research and train themselves, as there are no predetermined solutions or guidelines.
No book or manual can fully prepare them for the diverse challenges they will face in the classroom, nor can any diploma provide all the necessary skills. This is what makes an educator’s work so demanding.
Ironically, it is the very obstacles they encounter that ultimately lay the foundation for their success. While there are many strategies to employ, the most critical approach is love.
With this in mind, PYRGOS EDUCATION was established to inspire the next generation of students.
In a rapidly changing society, educators, in collaboration with parents and guardians, share the responsibility of instilling key values.
At our tutoring center, we prioritize high-quality teaching. Recognizing that each student is unique, we consistently provide personalized support tailored to individual needs.
Innovation and continuous improvement are fundamental to our approach—principles we, as educators, adopt first to set an example for our students. With professionalism, a passion for teaching, and empathy, our entire center and teaching staff unite in a mission to inspire, educate, and support our learners.
Our goal is to guide them toward achieving their objectives and fully realizing their potential.
In 2013, Ms. Aphrodite Efthymiou Chatzimarkou founded the Info-tropos tutoring center, laying the cornerstone for what would eventually become Pyrgos Education. Having been both a student and a teacher at Info-tropos, I was inspired by my own computer science teacher, Aphrodite, to pursue and develop a love for the field. Our progress should always be accompanied by respect for those who have helped and supported us.
Together, Pyrgos Education and Info-tropos stand as a tribute to my late father, Ppákis Pyrgos, and to Aphrodite, both of whom were instrumental in shaping me into the person and educator I am today.
